Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to audition to join?
No. Simply come to rehearsals, learn the dances, and when we perform our director Adrian will place you in the dances you are ready to do on the stage in front of an audience.
Do I need dance experience to join?
Not at all! Novices are always welcome. Sometimes new members will be intimidated by the number of years (even decades) some members have been performing with the group. However, instead of feeling discouraged one should consider the fact that dancers chose to stick around for such a long time because they have found so much fulfillment by being a part of Narodna.
When are rehearsals?
We have weekly rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 in East Salt Lake City.
Does it cost money to be a performer?
Nope. If one joins all costumes are provided for free, and if our group travels to perform all expenses are covered by the group's budget.
